Greetings! My name is Rae Black and I would like to share my story with you about why I created Rae Black Extensions, and how you can join me in my campaign "The Beauty That's in Your Hair, Life After Hair Loss."

In 2005, I became a flight attendant for SkyWest Airlines and I'm proud to say I am still employed there. After becoming a mother 2006, I decided to relocate to Denver Colorado in 2007. In 2009, I founded Pink and Black Beauty Collections now known as Rae Black Extensions. My motivation was due to years of bad experiences with the hair I purchased. After a long run with purchasing hair that would constantly shed and tangle, I decided to do my research and find a source that made 100% untreated virgin hair. My goal was to sell high quality, affordable hair that the average working woman such as myself could afford.

In 2011, I graduated from cosmetology school from the Aveda Institute Denver and started working part time as a hair extensions stylist, I also obtained my cosmetology educators certificate. It was then that I learned the direction that I wanted my life to go in. My clientele ranged from women with scarring alopecia, damaged hair from relaxers and enlightener as well as women that wanted to grow and wear their natural hair. October 2014 I relocated to Phoenix, Arizona and in July of 2015, I got the opportunity to work part time as a braiding and hair extensions specialty educator at the Aveda Institute Phoenix, which I am still currently employed.

My greatest accomplishment has been the continuous growth of my hair extension line, I like seeing my customers happy and satisfied. I distribute hair extensions to various beauticians, salons and to the public. I am excited to have recently earned the title and crown for Ms. Arizona Exceptional Woman International 2018 and the creation of my movement to making wigs for those that suffer from cancer and severe hair loss.
